Hi guys! Hope someone can help me with this one...I have been browsing through youtube, google, various forums, and I even got a friend to try help out through teamviewer and nothing worked so far, so I now decided to make a post here to see if anyone can help. I need this working ASAP so I can work properly.
The problem in a few words is that I'm trying to connect my Acer Aspire VX15 (VX5-591G-74UK) to a
Dell s34222dwg (Ultrawide screen 3440x1440) and it does not look right. It either looks streched or in the middle with 2 black bars to each side. This is because the resolution on the screen is 1920x1080 instead of the 3440x1440 that it should have. See images below:

Some more information:1)I read someplace that it could be the HDMI cable. I tried with 3 different HDMI cables on 3 different computers:
- My Acer did not work with any of the 3 cables (the 3 times loked like in the images above)
- A Dell XPS 15 and a mac book pro worked perfectly with the 3 cables
So I reckon it is not the cable?
2)I updated the drivers, went to device manager, tried to update the controlers from there, deleted the controlers, got the controlers online again from the intel page, the nvidia page, the acer page, I tried it all...so far no luck.
3)I got the DELL drivers for the screen and I even installed the Dell Device manager, once again no luck
4)I went through windows updates such in cae, everything up to date, no luck there either
5) I got the app Driver Booster and went through updatng drivers from that App, everything up to date, no luck their either.
How does the resolution appear in the different places:
At the moment I find myself having eleven million different place to control the resolution haha so I will showcase some screen shots on how they are set. Neither of them showcase a bigger resolution than 1920x1080

(Something interesting to notice tho is that if in the Intel one I go to information I can see all the resolutions for the DELL screen)

Other detail is how my Nvidia configuration looks like (sorry that everything is in spanish, I can translate if anyone needs so):

Just in case is useful I'm also leaving how my device manager looks like, you can see that it has the intel 630 and the nvidia 1050 there (both seem to be updated as well) nd you can also see a generic screen and the Dell under monitors:

Last but not least there is a full run through my computer specs attached as System Information Report
If there is anything else I can do to make this easier to whoever is reading this please let me know! I can for example to a loom video going through the settings on my system on different apps or whatever needed!
Thanks again, I really appreciate any help!
