I just got this laptop and the USB-C output to a USB-C 27" Dell monitor isn't working. It's not detecting the display - Saying Display Connection might be limited

Isn't this a Display port alt over USB-C 3.2 with support for charging?

From what I can tell it's listed as supporting display port in the service manual 🤔, should be a tb4 port. Does yours have the lightning bolt on the side of it?

    Hi @Sedul,

Did you try to connect with HDMI or VGA cable and check.

@Sedul - you are 100% correct re: this issue. That USB-C port does not support display out.
I have spent the past week off & on with Acer support asking them to prove to me this is a Thunderbolt 4 port (supporting multi-monitors).  After multiple calls, front line tech support would try to convince me that it is Thunderbolt 4, they say just got to find the right adapter/hub.  I went through 3 or 4 hubs...still no luck.  I got Level 2 tech support on the line, and after a LONG conversation, I proved to them that it does not have Thunderbolt 4 or display out capability.
We bought 5 of this models (through Costco) at once for our business...and we bought them based on Acer's (false) advertising that this USB-C port has display out capability.   VERY frustrating!
