Does opening the back of my acer travelmate P214-52 void the warranty

TL;DR I want to upgrade the total ram in my travelmate P214-52 and it comes 8gb stick and there is 1 free sodimm slot and I want to add an extra 8GB stick
will this void the warranty?

    The sticker would usually cover one of the screw holes, so it gets broken when you remove the screw. Typically whether it voids the warranty or not is locale specific, since different countries have different rules, so we can't really answer with any degree of certainty.
