Swift 3 SF314-42 Two Quick Beeps at Startup

Bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago and the beeps have always occurred at startup.  The memory diagnostic check shows no problems and Acer care center checks don't show any problems. The laptop starts up fine after the beeps and haven't noticed a single problem besides the noises immediately after pressing the power button. I otherwise wouldn't have noticed anything out of the ordinary, but everything I'm seeing online says the beeps are referring to hardware issues. Any suggestions?

Turn machine on and immediately tap F2 to enter the BIOS menu. Try changing the MAIN tab fast boot option. Also check if there is a quiet boot option. You may have to press Ctrl+S to reveal any hidden options.

There's no secret BIOS menu on this model. And those two beeps are indications of a system booting. I'm used to it :)

Thanks. Did you also try to change the fast boot option to see if the beeps are silenced?

2x short beeps means a "Parity circuit failure" send your SF314-42 to whoever you bought it from or to Acer and get them to check it and fix it or replace the laptop, these beeps should not be happening on any laptop if its in 100% functioning order especially a new laptop.

The beep codes Steven refers to are for an AMI BIOS, you have an Insyde BIOS instead. Insyde normally uses a sequence of beeps that is longer, and Acer hasn't published them for your model. A normal power up should have one beep as it completes so I don't know what's going on with two...

Did you also try to change the fast boot option to see if the beeps are silenced? Enabling fast boot skips check for a bootable DVD or USB media. Disabling fast boot checks for this media and may issue beeps if no bootable DVD or USB media is present.

Are you sure about it? I have same laptop and I hear two beeps every time and I don't have any problems with my system.

Switching fast boot doesn't change anything.
