I have exhausted every attempt to get power delivery to the laptop.  I have tried a USB-C charger and a Thunderbolt charger up to 85 watts.  Acer does not enable this.  Is there a way to enable?  Anyone successful in doing this?  I need this as a way of slowing down the battery depletion when I take my laptop from my den to my family room for a few hours without having to take one of the adapters with me.  Nothing in BIOS to do this and I have looked everywhere on the Internet with no luck.

Oh they exist. But you won't like the prices. Google search  part no. KP.33001.003. KP.3300H.001 or KP.33003.004. Walmart can get one for you at a princely sum. Smaller chargers should work, even gaming. But battery would drain a lot sooner since it would have to complement the charger output more often. Once the battery reaches below 50% level, CPU/GPU throttling would appear as charging then takes precedent over CPU/GPU demands.

Sorry, not that I'm aware of. Most port chargers aren't powerful enough for that beast. A puny 85watter certainly wouldn't cut the mustard even if it did work.  Ports generally aren't designed to handle that kind of power. Easiest fix is another PSU in the 150watt range like shown below.

Thanks JackE, so using an adapter that is rated 150 watts which is well below the 330 watts for the Helios 500 PH517-52 will not cause any problems for charging?  I would only use this adapter while only on the internet and certainly no gaming.  I do want to just buy another 330w adapter that matches the one that came with the laptop but they don't seem to exist anywhere on the internet.
