Considering Memory Upgrade for an Acer Desktop that is still going strong!
Model: Aspire AM5910-U2062 maybe also known as Aspire M5910(G)

Original specs state 4 x 2Gb (8Gb) Ram maximum in slots, but Service Manual states 4 x 4Gb (16Mb) possible, but FRU only lists sticks of 2Gb, not 4. Memory vendors are giving different answers. Anybody have a definitive answer about this?
Thanks,

The Aspire M5910 models support a maximum of 16GB using four 4GB sticks. They need to be DDR3 1.5V and either 1066  or 1333 speed. Best performance for the memory will be with 1333MHz. The reason the SG only shows the 2GB sticks is that the 4GB versions weren't available yet when the system was released. They shipped with a couple of different versions of memory from at least four different manufacturers during the model life.
