Hello,

I have a xb323ugx that randomly and infrequently times out for 1-2 seconds (blue light) and comes back on. This is a recent issue that began either in December or the start of 2022. I've owned the Monitor since Feb 2021 and have a warranty until 2024. I've contacted acer and they offered an RMA but I thought I'd wait to see if I can find a solution.

Here's what I've tried:

1) Installing acer specific monitor driver to replace the generic
2) Several NVIDIA drivers (I don't recall this issue happening with drivers from last fall but using those drivers won't work well with newer games, forza 5 etc)
3) different DP cable
4) plugging into different outlets, power bars, UPS
5) Monitor reset (unplug cables, hold power button for 30 seconds, let sit for a minute, plug back in)

The time out doesn't happen when I wiggle, agitate the cables or when the monitor is wobbling as I stand up, sit, type etc. It's random and infrequent and not during gaming either.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

    Hi @xPepi,

Did you try with HDMI or VGA cable.

No I did not. The problem seems to have corrected itself as far as I can tell. I haven't had a screen timeout in a while. I'll report back if it continues to happen. FYI, my screen doesn't have a VGA port.
