I own and Aspire 5 and i made the mistake of not creating a backup while it was still brand new. I still have my warranty however and ive been trying to get the eRecovery Media from acer but apparently, i can't since im not in the US. are there ways to still get a recovery drive even if im not in the US and if possible i already have a USB ready so if i can also just download the eRecovery that would be great!

I never bothered to get the eRecovery Media from Acer, because there are other methods for recovery.

    1) When bootup, hold down ALT key and keep tapping the F10 key until you see the Recovery Menu, do recovery selections from there.

    2) Go to the Microsoft site, download the Media Creation Tool to your PC and  run it to download the latest Win 10 to a flash drive in Fat32 format .

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Once finished, this flash drive is bootable when needed, you can use it for recovery or do a clean Win 10 install from there.

    3) Using the Win 10 Create System Image method, backup your whole system to another USB external HDD/SSD or to another internal HDD/SSD. When finished backup the image, Win 10 will ask you to create a recovery disc (or you can go straaight ahead to Create a Recovery Disc without going through the image backup process).

Microsoft's win 10 doesn't contain acer's drivers/apps/settings, so it might not be a good option.

All major manufactures(hp/dell/lenovo) provide their official recovery image to download, except Acer.

I really don't understand why acer only sell physical recovery media in US. Just put a download link on your support site.
