I would like to replace the stock CPU cooler soon, as it sounds like I have a mini airport in my room, and the performance thereof is quite sub-par with the CPU's demands, ESPECIALLY the automatic fan setting, which is terribly slow, and if I hadn't noticed it's so slow, my CPU would been dead by now. Also because I am stuck to only the NS fan control, where I can only choose between 60% and 100% fan speed, for some reason.
I am also unable to adjust the fans through other software, such as Speedfan/Argus/FanControl (in order to let the fans run at 30-40% under low-load, so it isn't that loud), which leads to my question: if I swap the stock cooler for a quality one, will I be able to access the controls through software other than NitroSense, or do I need to swap out the case/motherboard altogether, in order to have full control over my system?
