Acer nitro 5 low fps

Hello guys,
Have already checked through forums and tried alot of things but still having an issue, I purchased the laptop 3 days ago and getting low fps on low settings say warzone low to medium I'm getting between 60-80 fps escape from tarkov even on low I'm getting 60-70, fortnite on low I'm getting 60-100 fps and even world kf warcraft in a battleground I'm getting fps drops to 30, is this a fault with the laptop or can 5his be fixed specs are i7 11800h processor gtx 1060 graphics 16gb 3200mhz ram please help me :)

    Hi @Cainmurphy93,

    There are two main reasons as to why you are having low fps. Second, you are thermal throttling. Nitro 5 is a great budget laptop but it is infamously notorious for bad cooling. If you have bad cooling, CPUs and GPUs typically underclock to prevent anymore heat waste.

    Right click on the battery Icon on the right bottom corner, go to power management, click advanced and select High performance. you can also use Nitro sense to boost the performance but Overclocking the CPU or GPU usage.

    Try to run your computer in a cool place and check if there is proper airflow available at the bottom of the laptop. If the problem still persists, undervolt the CPU and the GPU. Let me know if Nitrosense did the job, if not, try undervolting. If the problem still persists, undervolt the CPU and the GPU.
