Aspire V5-591G-52E3 M.2 SSD access error

I bought a PATRIOT P300 m.2 SSD a few days ago and I can't use it. When I boot the system from the HDD, I can see the new M.2 SSD, I can open the partition, but I can't open the folder inside. The only message that appears is: "The xy folder cannot be accessed, I cannot format the partition on Windows, delete it.

When I install any versions of Windows 10 on the M.2 SSD, it works properly until I install the INTEL driver. After the installation, the system freezes afterwards.

Can someone help where the error could be? I bought a bad M.2 SSD, could it be defective?

Is there a vendor list of supported models of compatible m.2 SSD hardware?

Yes that is all well and fine bbela but and also you should remember that your new “M end key NVMe M.2 drive” which is a based M.2 SSD module that can be installed on a PCIe x2 lane that will run at 15.75 Gb/s, while the same drive installed on a module of a PCIe x4 lane will run at 31.5 Gb/s which is a massive leap in speed and performance to the M.2 modules designed for a SATA interface that will perform according to the latest SATA 3rd generation standard that is recommended for your V5-591G-52E3, which is up to 6 Gb/s and will not work at the NVMe M.2 max rated speeds. Its really a waste of a drive and money as the SATA 3 M.2 drives are cheaper unless you intend using this new M.2 NVMe drive on another more modern laptop and upgrade this new NVMe drive to it.
