3200MHz ram running on 2933MHz I cannot find anything in bios to change it.

    Hi @matusko0k,

    There could be a couple of reasons for this. First, the motherboard that you are using may not be capable of anything higher than 2133MHz and so the RAM is slowing down to the speed of the board. Second, there could be an error in reporting the speed that is actually in use.

    Sadly yor laptop motherboard is not capable of 3200MHZ so it went to 2933 mhz which is its maximum capability..

    Try running a Game or a video intensive program, look for anything changes in Task Manager or in CPU-Z.

    The Nitro 5 AN515-55 with its motherboard chipset and the Intel Comet Lake-H CPU specs is governed to memory of either DDR4-2666MHz or to a max of DDR4-2933NHz and if you put DDR4-3200MHz type memory it will only run at max DDR4-2933MHz as those are the specs for these Intel Comet Lake-H CPU’s specs if you look at “Memory Type” of these 10th Gen Intel CPU’s of either the i7-10750H or the i5-10300H which are fitted to the AN515-55, this means this; Intel® processors come in four different types: Single Channel, Dual Channel, Triple Channel, and Flex Mode. Maximum supported memory speed may be lower when populating multiple DIMMs per channel on products that support multiple memory channels.
