my swift x (rtx3050) model has a power brick of rating 90W (4.74 x 19)
and i realized that there's some differences when playing on battery and while plugged in
i know its not good to play on battery, and the brick is pretty heavy

so i want to ask, is it possible to use type c charging (GaN 90W) and get full performance while plugged in via type c? thank you

Yes, you can use a USB-C power adapter, 65W (20V/3.25A). Note that it won't charge quite as fast as the stock supply, due to the lower wattage, but it should be good enough to give you plenty of play time.

You should, any excess power needs will be met by the battery, giving a slight drop in battery run length. So if you are running everything at max, and that requires 90W of power, a 65W charger will use 25W out of the battery, meaning you have a slight discharge.
