I just recently bought a
Acer Nitro N50-120 with a 5600x. I have taken the 5600x out for another built of mine. Since I have an extra r5 3600 lying around, so I installed the CPU onto the Acer B550a board hoping it would work. The board is able to recognize the chip, and it showed r5 3600. However, I was stuck at "ACER" logo and can't get into window. There's one time where they show 'cmos checksum error or cmos battery loss occurs'. I have updated the bios to version
R01-A2, but the problem still persist.I'm just wondering whether this motherboard only supports 5600g, 5700g and 5600x. Or is there any ways for Ryzen 3000 to run on this motherboard.
