Although I've removed my laptop dead battery, my laptop (E5-575G-75D7) doesn't restart during the update process, messaging that "the upgrade process has been suspended because your battery charge is too low. please plug in a power source; the process will continue when the charge is more than 25%". It's really strange as there is no battery on my laptop at all. It's installing "Acer inc. system firmware 1.47", but the installation can not be completed as the laptop can not be restarted. Can anyone help to solve this issue? Thank you!

Sorry, firmware usually won't install properly without a fully charged battery. Trying to install firmware without a battery also risk bricking or disabling the machine. Google search e5-575G & battery for vendors who ship  new replacement batteries to your location. About $30usd

Yes, it seems so. Also, if your machine seems to be running OK on its current installed BIOS firmware, updating is NOT recommended since firmware updates, unlike device driver updates, are risky and usually irreversible if undesirable side effects or serious disabling problems occur.
