Why is there no actual driver for the CB272 series drivers download.

I went to update the monitor drivers and i downloaded the driver package and there is no actual driver for the monitors.

like why have a package to download if youre not going to have the driver.

The driver for your CB272 from Acer is all that you need for this monitor to run properly, monitors do not need specific driver updates and only in certain occasions they need a firmware update which Acer can only do and provide for the CB272 monitor if needed. If you have installed the CB272 Acer Monitor Drivers version 1.0 dated 2019/07/10 for your CB272 and your monitor is giving you problems then consult an Acer Service centre and get them to diagnose whatever problem that you are having with your monitor.

Monitors almost always use Plug and Play (PnP) to configure supported resolutions, no need for monitor specific drivers.

Kindly look at the driver which is present on the acer website

Click on the drop down below operating system and you will see drivers for different operating system.


Try windows + x on keyboard -  go to device manager 
Expand monitor 
Right click on monitor driver - click on update - chose the first option and try to update the latest driver. 

You can even try the windows update..
