Memory upgrade for A315-51-31RD

From youtube and some peeking behind the curtain (memory cover), It looks to me like my Aspire 3 business model (A315-51-31RD w/ factory 8GB RAM and 1TD hard drive), will need an 8GB DDR card to replace the sole removable 4GB card in order to bring the whole thing up to the 12GB max.  

Just checking in here to see if people think I'm interpreting this situation correctly

Here's the laptop data:
Aspire 3 A315-51-31RD   model N17Q1 
8GB   1TB
CPU: intel Core i3-7100Ucpu @ 2.4 GHz
(not sure where to check for the GPU data)

Here's the existing card:  I looks to be a 4GB card with nothing else in the bay.

    Yup you are correct :) there is 4GB soldered and the 4GB removable which you can drop an 8 GB sick in
