i wondered   if  someone   out there  could   help me,i have a   Acer   315   chromebook   its about 3   years  old   tonight  i  was  on it    and  for the  life of me   i can't figured  out why  it suddenly  went  off,  it was fully charged  up so i  thought, i   click on  the  power  button   nothing  happened  no  power light   was seen   this   went on   about 10   to  20  minutes at  least    i  plugged in the power cord and  tooked   it out but  no light   on the  end of the  laptop its self. i  thought  it  blew a  fuse or something  or  i  accidently  did  something,  or  my   dog sat  on   it,  anyway  i looked  it over   from  the front     to back    i  didnt see  anything  broken  after   fiddle with  it   for another 5  minutes  i  hook   the power cord in to it press    the  power button    and suddenly  it  came  on, it  seems to  be ok   now

Which 315 model do you have? The full model number should be on the same sticker as the SN and SNID. It's likely something like CB315-xxx-xxxx...
What do the battery and charging status lights do when the charger is plugged in, how is it different with the charger out?
