First and If your Z3-710 LCD screen is damaged and not working then its best to replace the OEM LCD screen with the default Acer LCD screens from the list below (Acer part numbers are on the right):

To connect an external monitor (seeing that you don't have a Display Port 1.2) is to use the HDMI-OUT (#7) port that is a HDMI 1.4a version type port with a Maximum Resolution: 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hzt. Just a short explanation on 1.4a version HDMI, which was mandated to two new 3D formats for broadcast on top of the game and Blu-ray formats. HDMI 1.4 required that 3D displays support the frame packing 3D format at either 720p50 and 1080p24 or 720p60 and 1080p24. HDMI 1.4a added side-by-side horizontal at either 1080i50 or 1080i60 and top-and-bottom at either 720p50 and 1080p24 or 720p60 and 1080p24. So keep all this in mind as your Acer Z3-710 AIO has limited resolution capabilities and putting a modern 144Hz refresher rate monitor will not be utilized for its full resolution potential with this AIO.
