Yesterday my Swift 3 fingerprint reader stopped working. I use Windows 11. When I go into the Device Manager, and go to Biometric Devices/EgisTec Touch Fingerprint Sensor, I get the following under Device Status:
“This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.”
Some background: A couple of months ago I updated to Windows 11, and the fingerprint reader stopped working. So I uninstalled 11 and web back to 10 and it worked again. A few days later I reinstalled 11, and the fingerprint reader worked fine, and it has worked fine since then until yesterday. Thanks for any help.
