Can an a predator PO3-620 support 3200 mhz ram?

I am thinking about getting new ram but i need to know if 3200 mhz ram is compatible

    OP, the supported speed depends on the CPU and motherboard you have. For example my i5-10400F was topped out at 2666MHz. I don't know what RAM you have now, but my PO3-620 came with this (2x8Gb).



    As you see, this RAM would work at 3200MHz without any CPU or motherboard chipset restrictions. It sucks, right?

    Please search the forum for more info. There are many posts about RAM. I believe some members even reported which modules actually work at the desired 2666/2933 speed and which do not.

    As everyone else said, ram speed is determined by the chipset, not by the ram chips... 10th gen chipsets run the memory slower with the i3 and i5 than with the i7 or i9. Hence the 2666 and 2933 numbers. Acer put 3200 memory into a bunch of units because they were able to source them, the 2933 chips weren't available due to the chip shortage.
