Hello
Starting today I have to unplug and replug in my HDMI cable for the signal to display on my monitor.  I believe this issue just started today.  I tried undating graphic card and even bought a new HDMI cable this afternoon.  Still I seem to have to unplug the laptop and replug in once or twice for the monitor to display.  I tried the same hdmi cable on a playstation and worked flawlessly.  I also have the same monitor hooked up to my work laptop and that works without issue.

The problem seems to be my HDMI port on my Predator laptop.  Not sure why it takes a few times for the signal to register.

Any ideas on what else I can try?

    UPDATE
Unplugging and re plugging in the HDMI cable and the monitor does not display.  Tap on Predator 'FN & F5' and change to extend, and then my monitor is then recognized.  Not sure why this is the case but this is another solution instead of plugging and un-plugging the HDMI cable.

Hoping this is some setting that may have changed.  HDMI port does seem to work.

    UPDATE
Just tried to connect via two different monitors.  Seems this only happens on the ASUS TUF VG27AQL1A.  Works as expected on ASUS TUF  VG249Q.
So this is not HDMI port related or Predator Helios 300 related.  Now seems to be monitor related.  Not sure why the ASUS TUF VG27AQL1Adoes not recognize the laptop on first connect though.

Just bumping this topic as I have yet to find a solution.  I worked with Asus and it doesnt seem to be related to the monitor.
Could a need a new monitor driver?  I have RTX 2060.  Not sure what else to try.  For now just un plugging and re plugging in the hdmi cable to get my monitor to wake.

Sounds like power management on the monitor, you could try an edid emulator to force it to stay on , these are little dongles which provide a small signal pretending to be a monitor, then then pass the real signal through

If it's working on a dif monitor I doubt it's the drivers!

At this point I'm not sure if this is monitor related really.  The monitor wakes up as expected when connected via a display port for my work laptop and if I connect to an XBox.  The monitor does indeed work with my Acer, its just that I need to un plug and re plug my HDMI cable once or twice.  Not the end of the world but I shouldnt have too.  My last monitor worked as expected with this same setup.

Also once I get my monitor and Acer working and if my Acer goes to sleep mode, the laptop will later wake up but sometimes I have to mess with the HDMI cable again.  Annoying.  Only recent change was changing to IOS WIndows 11
