Hi everyone,

Soo, I've had a previous question posted about my battery not charging fully, that 1 year ago, and now I have a different problem. The led button from the side of the laptop is orange and blinking..but only sometimes... sometimes meaning when I am playing on the laptop. Worth mentioning that I use my pc only plugged in when playing and just when I do anything else, I sometimes unplug it. So, the first step that I believe everyone does, was google it to find that the battery may be faulty and not charging correctly so it needs to be replaced. Still, I bought a new battery from the UK since my country doesn't have it, it's the original one, and replaced it, it charged nicely, button blue, everything ok until I played on the laptop and it turned orange, but on the display is showing "Fully charged (100%) but the led is still blinking and recovering a little later (2-3h, very little -_-:)
Could it be the AC adaptor at fault? all I can find over the internet is the battery being faulty, but it barely has 3 days since using it.  (file:///C:/battery-report.html- hope this one will work, if not screenshot is attached.
I don't have a different Adaptor to check, that would mean another waste of money, or is it my hardware? I have 2 SSD running on the pc, an M2, and a normal one. Still, it worked perfectly till now. Sometimes when I plug it in, the jack of the adaptor... or the one inside the pc? is doing a cranky sound? but it's connecting and charging.

Please help me with an advice, I honestly don't know what to check anymore. I had it open and cleared of dust and all, reset the battery through the pinhole, made sure that the battery is correctly connected and no issues are with the cables and all... I don't know what to do further.. maybe gaming is not an option for it anymore and it's already a "tired" laptop? :( (model version/name in the screenshot).

@EllyElenna if both battery and power indicators are blinking, it means that the adaptor is faulty.

i only see the battery led blinking... and usually it happens only when i play on it. Would there be any power shortage that the adaptor can't supply when i play on it?
    Thank you!

    Hello.
So i changed battery... i tried a new apdator, new cable, new jack, everything, it's still behaving the same. Could it be the jack inside the laptop? To me it looks like the laptop makes too much usage on the battery even when plugged in and it doesn't make sense. It shows me it's charging, shows 100% but it is still blinking. and keeps staying orange. The battery is new, and it's an original. What could be the problem? Hardware issue? I have two hardware, a normal SSD and an M2, the M2 is what it had since buying it.

    Thank you.

An update to this, after unplugging the adapter, it showed me to have 8h !!! remaining at 94%. When it dropped to 91 it showed me 5h, at 83% 1h 17 min to jump up min later to 2h 59 min. At 75% battery, I connected the adapter (no warning, I just wanted to connect it back for a test) and it charged normally, the led being orange as it should, and now is blue as it should. Still, tomorrow morning, when I will turn on the laptop (note it is disconnected from power during the night) it will be orange again and will blink again. I ran a memory test diagnosis, everything is ok. Run the PC health check, the battery is ok, and below is the latest report. What is it reading the battery so wrong?

I don't get where this blinking is coming from. All systems work as expected and I see no problems. Windows loads fine, all programs run ok. Overall performance is quite alright.
