This just started happening a few days ago when my Acer Nitro AN515-42 started giving my a BSOD occasionally. The was say "Your PC has ran into an issue and needs to restart" , with the error code of "video_dxgkrnl_fatal". This has been annoying me on a regular basis and I do not know what to do and how to fix it. If you know anything about this, please feel free to try and help me

The "video_dxgkrnl_fatal" is frequently seen as a cause when you have video issues. watchdog.sys frequently (but not always) is seen when there's a hardware problem Lot's and lot's of video related BSOD's in the MSINFO32 WER reports. start by monitoring your system temps to see if any of the components show high temps. You may also want to try running a video stress test to see if that causes the system to crash (monitor the temps while doing this - it can damage the system if you let the temps go much above 105ºC (approximately). I have used FurMark and MSI Afterburner in the past for this.

    Hi @clarenceORG,

Blue screens are generally caused by problems with your computer's hardware or issues with its hardware driver software. Sometimes, they can be caused by issues with low-level software running in the Windows kernel. Regular apps usually won't be able to cause blue screens.
