Replacement keyboard bumpers for Chromebook R11

I have an Acer Chromebook R11. Over time, I've lost the two small keyboard "bumpers" that sit in the lower left and lower right corners of the keyboard (which keep the screen "spaced" from the keyboard when the lid is closed).

The attached picture shows the gap where the lower-left "bumper" used to be.

Does anyone know how / where to get a replacement?

I don't believe Acer offers those separate from the case half. You could build on back up using something like the flexible silicone adhesives. Just a little bead in the groove, a piece of Teflon plumbers tape over it and a closed case until the adhesive is set would give you the function, if not the esthetic...

I lost the same tiny buffer on my Chromebook and someone suggested one of those mini round elastic bands cut to length. It fitted the groove perfectly and if you're a perfectionist you might want choose a band the same colour as your case.

Thanks very much -- that's an interesting idea. I'd have to hunt around for an elastic band of the same width as the little slot. Did you just glue it in?
