Acer et322qu display port is not working

I recently purchased two Acer et322qu monitor but the Display ports are not being detected. Does the DP on these monitors only work on GPU vs the built-in CPU on the mother board? I tested on three different computers (Dell Latitude 5570 , macmini m1, macbook pro 2017).  I have done the following:

1. Tried direct connecting from a DP to HDMI cable.
2. Tried the cables that came with the monitors and connected to a docking station and does not work either. 
3. I tried turning off Auto Detect, and manually selecting DP but does not work either.

I have not tried DP to DP ports on a PC that has DP.

Remember that a HDMI to DP cable is quite different from a DP to HDMI cable. Try a DP to DP if possible, if not take a close look at the descriptions on the cables...
