I recently installed a SATA SSD and now my P09-600 motherboard has a light that is always on, even if the PC has been fully shut down.

unless I totally disconnect it from the power it will stay on, but as soon as I reconnect it, the light comes on again, it never did this previously.

Any help to solve this bright light issue would be greatly appreciated.

Can you show us a picture of where the light is?

    Hi @ GorgonsGaze
Look for a setting that says ROG Effects under the Advanced menu option. Click on Onboard LED, then select Disable, and the RGB on your motherboard will shut off with your computer

That switch is visible right next to the lit LED on your picture... You can even see that it's in the LED On position.
