Hi I have ES11 (ES1-132-C4XY) struggling with 2 GB RAM so looking to upgrade. Understand that there are 2 slots one of which is taken by the 2 GB RAM which I think is fixed. So can add additional RAM in the free slot? Looking to find youtube guide showing procedure - on back just one panel - assuming that is battery and RAM access? Thinking that an additional 4 GB RAM will make real difference?
Any comments and advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, there should 6 screws on the bottom door to access the replaceable RAM socket. Most mainboards had 2GB sodimm installed in this socket. So you can replace this 2GB sodimm with up to an 8GB DDR3L sodimm module 1600MHz or faster for a total of 8GB max. If the socket is empty, you can still an 8GB sodimm but the total recognized RAM will likely still be 8GB, not 10GB.
