I have my new predator helios 300 laptop, I went to Acer's website and saw the newest bios version is 1.11 (my current version is 1.02). Anyone already update this version could you guys can give me some reviews like does the 1.11 have any new feature or any error. One more thing is that should I update each by each version till the newest version or do I just need to update the newest and it contains all the older. ( sorry for my English, and thank you very much😁😁)

    It's ok to take the latest version of BIOS.
    But keep in mind: Updating the BIOS also has a certain security risk. If your machine works fine, leave it as it is. If BIOS update fails, you may have a brick.

  • Is your laptop experiencing heating issues or something? Bios updates are risky procedures. Now, some versions include some improvement in the fans table and that could be interesting.

    When you update the bios you only need to update to the last version e.g. in your case to the 1.11 as that includes all the other bios's. Also be very careful when you update bios because Acer warns you "Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution." so and when you upgrade the bios always do this;

    • turn off all running software
    • turn off antivirus and malware software
    • have your laptop on mains power e.g. adaptor plugged in
    • never update your laptops bios if the laptop has problems with BSOD's/blue screens or can turn off prmaturleyas it will brick your laptop and wreck thebioschip.
