ACER aspire E5-576 WLAN Wi-Fi not working

Hi. I had lots of problems with my Acer aspire E5-576 laptop with Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter
Currently I have 2 problems:

1. After 2 years of using it I am no longer able to connect to Wi-Fi (any Wi-fi). The wi-fi networks are detected but after providing password, there is no possibility to connect to a network.
Wi-fi networks that aren't protected with password also can not be accessed.

2. After 2,5 years of using this laptop I am no longer able to share the internet from this laptop with other devices by creating a hotspot. This was possible until a few weeks ago but no longer is possible.
I have checked the drivers updates and according to my laptop all drivers are up to date. Nevertheless I have downloaded a buch of older and newer drivers, installed them and off course it did not solve the problem.
The error I receive when trying to share the internet is: You can't share this internet connection as the internet network can not be accessed (translated from polish, so english error may sound a bt different). This error is incorrect in my opinion as I am connected to the internet via external portable modem.

I am still able to connect to the internet using cable internet or USB mobile internet device but no longer can access any wi-fi protected or not.
No longer able to create internet hotspot and share it from the laptop.

The bottom cover & battery must removed to access wlan m.2 module and antenna connections. Try re-seating the wlan and its two antenna coaxial cable connections to help clean the contacts. Be careful when removing coax connectors as they are very fragile. if this doesn't resolve the issue, then the antenna cable probably has a broken wire in the hinge area from wear and tear of opening and closing the lid too much. Replacing the cable is a bigger task that requires removing the screen bezel and hinge cover since the antenna is mounted in the screen lid.

If it is my PC, I'll reseat the Wi-Fi card and clean with electrical contact cleaner, including the two antenna wires and connectors.

If problem persists, I'll take this as an opportunity to upgrade for an AX210 (Wi-Fi 6E) card for about USD $30.

Hey Wopo, first follow all the advice given above to check the Wi-Fi/BT cards port, connection and condition physically and if its port is not obstructed by corrosion and all its port pins are clean and the card is connected properly and its antenna wires are also connected properly, as that has a big bearing on how this card works.

I don’t know which Qualcomm Atheros drivers you have installed but the best site to get all the latest drivers for Qualcomm Atheros Drivers is from “https://www.ath-drivers.eu/”. The latest drivers for Wi-Fi/BT for your QCA9377 card are; versions 12.0.0.1016 and the latest Bluetooth is version 10.0.0.714 after downloading these drivers, completely uninstall the old Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers through “Device Manager” (or the BT driver could be uninstalled also from Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a program) from your laptop. Then install all the latest drivers systematically, first the Wi-Fi and then the Bluetooth then reboot your laptop then login to Win-10 and see if your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are activated? If not then press the F3 key once and see if the functions are activated? If not then press the F3 key a few times which should activate both Wi-Fi and BT functions and after activate " Mobile Hotspot" in Win-10 as it should work. Btw, I've used Qualcomm Atheros cards for many years and they are very reliable and don’t go wrong for nothing and/or often you must be doing something wrong or there is something wrong with your card and/or laptop?
