Acer Nitro 5 battery light flashing while gaming, losing charge while plugged in

While gaming (in this case, the game is Destiny 2), I have my laptop plugged in. However, omce I actually begin to play, the charging light turns orange, and the battery begins to drain. Additionally, the sound that plays when the charger is unplugged also plays. Idk what the issue is, and I've looked through a few forums without much help. It does this regardless of charge, and only gives me about an hour to an hour and a half of game time before getting too low to play. It only does this whilst playing Destiny 2, and never does this whilst playing browser games, or using the PC casual. Please help!

@Beakman sounds like the charger does not give enough power for heavy load gaming session. You can try to clean the charger port and the plug. Replace the charger is the solution if cleaning does not work.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

I think that's what I'm gonna try and do. What wattage should the charger be? I'm seeing 135, 150, and 180.

    Hi @Beakman,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.
Update Battery Drivers in Windows EASILY - Driver Easy
    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.
