Hello this is my first question here, my laptops fans are running faster then normal when idle even now when only using Edge Predator sense overclocking its at normal and the core clock is 1455 MHZ i assume this isnt normal says loading 6% also, any ideas what may be causing this and how to fix? My cpu seems fine i think .78 voltage and 67 degree C

Predator PH315-52, sorry didnt know after stating the Vc its relevent, must be some setting i think that is causing it to be at a constant 1455 or a virus ouch

In Nvidia control panel, in global settings, go to power management mode and select Adaptive.

When was the last time you cleaned out your fans?  (I don't mean just the outside of the case, but opening case and cleaning the fans themselves.)  After 2 years esp. using max fan I expect it probably has a lot of buildup.
