predator helios 300 how much time will take to get response on a repair request in mumbai,india

i posted a repair request for my predator helios 300 GPU fan not working issue today morning, how much time will it take to get a response or a repair from tech support????

    Is your fan making Rattling noise? Is your Helios under warranty? What do you mean by "posted"?

    Upon making a service request(if the laptop is in warranty), generally within 3 business days, the nearest Acer authorised service centre technician will visit you. (They will contact you on your registered mobile number and again ask about the issue)

    If the service technician finds hardware issues that are covered under the warranty (condition you have not voided the warranty), the technician will give you a customer copy of the repair slip(keep this safe). The replacement hardware will come to Mumbai from a warehouse in Noida, India within approximately 5 business days. Again some technician will visit you (not necessarily the same one before) and change the parts.

    So overall it may take 7-12 days.

    I had my fan replaced in warranty because it was making an annoying rattling noise. It's an internal hardware issue, and the fan is metal therefore it should be covered under the warranty.

    Be polite with the technician and maintain covid protocols. Try to let the technician inspect your laptop in a clean area with ample light. And something to hold unscrewed screws so they are safe. Make sure the replacement fan is the same as the original one.

    IMPORTANT:
    Ask the technician to clean the laptop from the inside with a brush. MAKE SURE THE TECHNICIAN DOESN'T REMOVE ANY TAPES ATTACHED TO THE FAN AND HEAT SINK (blue metal pipes).

    ALSO, try doing a follow up by calling the service helpline number.
