So I've been identifying what is the maximum memory capacity of my laptop but I don't know which one is true because it gives me different answers.
One from Acer(12 GB) and one from Crucial system identifier(20 GB), and I also checked it using the command prompt but it also gives me a different answer(32 GB).

Sorry. You must remove 10 screws from bottom cover to actually see if you have an empty replaceable RAM socket because the Crucial scanner is sometimes wrong. There are two different size screws (red and yellow circled) so don't mix them up.

Some 4GB RAM laptops were equipped with 4GB RAM soldered to the unreplaceable RAM socket. And some laptops were equipped with 4GB RAM in the replaceable RAM socket. If you had 4GB soldered unreplaceable RAM the maximum is 12GB guaranteed with an 8GB sodimm. If you had 0GB soldered unreplaceable RAM the maximum is 8GB with an 8GB sodimm. A 16GB sodimm may work but not guaranteed.
