Predator XB253Q Lagging

in Predator Monitors
Hi all, my Predator XB253Q has developed a serious lagging problem. Displays at 144fps in games, then suddenly drops to 7fps, then back up to 144fps, then moments later, drops again. This after the monitor worked great for 2 months.

I've tested my setup on spare monitor and was not able to replicate the issue, making me think it is the XB3 monitor. Using a 1660 super GPU.

Any ideas for a possible solution or things to test. Did all the obvious stuff (reset, cables, etc)

    What cable is connected to it HDMI or VGA ?

    Hi @Easwar, HDMI. I've replicated the problem with a couple different HDMI cables.

    I do worry that the other monitor I tested (and did NOT replicate the problem on) was just too low quality (~60fps max) for the issue to show up if was a GPU issue, rather than monitor issue. 

    Any ideas are appreciated.
