After the update, the keyboard works as if the fn key was pressed, - instead of letters appear numbers.
Uninstalling the driver and restarting has no effect

Try fn + f11, fn+ f12 and check  or turn on and off the num lock and check ..
You need to hold the fn key on keyboard and press f11 only once.   Similarly you can try fn + f12
open notepad and please type the letters and check..

If it is still not working..

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..

Try and check whether it is working now ..

Numbers instead of letters almost always means the NumLk is set. In addition to the above check in the BIOS to make sure there isn't an option to default to NumLk on at boot time.
