Chromebook Spin 713 SSD noise

I got a Chromebook Spin 713 3W I7 1165G 256 GB two months ago. I use it with the AC plugged. Each time I start an application, I hear a 'grinding' noise, exactly the same I heard on old PC with a HD mechanical drive. I saw on the net that different people have had the same problem.
And yesterday, I unplugged the AC and use it with battery : the noise disappears. I plugged the AC again, the noise comes back. The plug was made on the first USB-C (on the 3W, the two USB-C are on the left side). Then I tried to plug on the second USB-C, the noise disppears. And when I replugged on the first USB-C, the noise has totally disapperead.
Strange no !

My initial reaction is that the CPU load increases on loading an app and the fan then kicks in on "full". With battery power the CPU may not give full performance and hence less cooling

The noise was clearly not the noise of a fan, but a very small crackling (and as I said, exactly the same noise I got when reading on mechanical hard drive).

Hey MesonPi 2.5” or M.2 SSD’s don’t make any noises as they don’t have any moving parts and or any components that work to make a mechanical noise. If your laptop is under warranty don’t open it or disassemble it, take it to your nearest Acer service outlet! If your laptop isn’t under warranty then, disassemble the laptop, run it with the adaptor plugged in and then take the adaptor out and listen carefully to where the noise is coming from, as that is your only option and by you saying that its coming from your M.2 SSD is very strange?
