I have the above tablet. Since W10 upgrade I have no touch screen functionality (attached or detached), can't connect a bluetooth device and he keyboard defaults to having the NUMLOCK on so I have to turn it off.  Also... neither the SN nor the SNID are recognised on the Acer website so I'm really struggling to get any help.
Any comments or input (or just plain old sympathy) greatly received.  MIKE B

The Aspire 5750 laptop models do NOT have touchscreens, also some of the 5750-xxx-xxx came with Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G and Bluetooth 4.0 on the latter models but most camewith only 2.4G Wi-Fi only cards, so check if your card is a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card or just a Wi-Fi card? The earlier 2010 Aspire 5750-2414 that I bought then only came with a 2.4G Wi-Fi only card and I had to replace that card with a 2.4G/5G & 4.0 BT with a Bluetooth Frequency Band of 2.4000 to 2.4835 GHz which was the Qualcomm Atheros AR9462-AR5B22 card and all this cards latest drivers are here: Wi-Fi & Bluetooth for Win10 and it worked 100% with this laptop.

The Aspire 5750-xxx-xxx is a circa 2010 laptop and needs allot of upgrading for it to be an acceptable Win-10 runner, the upgrades that I did to this laptop were its CPU from its OEM i5-2410M to the higher spec i7-2720QM (but you can even go as high as the i7-2860QM), changed the spinner HDD to a Samsung 850EVO SSD and use the OEM spinner as a slave drive with a caddy that I put into the DVD drive space, fitted the max RAM of 2x 4GB DDR3-1600MHz for the max total of 8GB plus changed the 2.4G Wi-Fi only card to a 24.G/5G Wi-Fi/BT 4.0 card. All this is essential for the older Aspire 5750-xxxx models to work adequately with Win-10. So upgrade your Aspire 5750 / SW5-012 to what I've done as then Windows 10 will work much better, as using the OEM Aspire 5750-xxx-xxx components like the HDD is slow and if you are only running this laptop on 4GB RAM its not adequate enough and its where problems also arise as the laptop need upgrading. Also change the keyboard as and if you still have the original its due for a replacement and then you will get all the keyboards functions back again. Good luck as the Aspire 5750 laptop range is a very good and old durable laptop and works great with Win-10.

Hi- Wow... such a comprehensive response. Thank you.  Apologies... I do also have an Acer 5750 laptop (with no touchscreen) which is a bit old now but works OK.
Just to clarify... What I have is a tablet SW5-012(??) and it definitely has/had touchscreen functionality both with the screen attached and when the screen is detached from the keyboard i.e. in tablet mode.  Also the bluetooth function recognises my bluetooth device but now won't connect. I'm wondering if it's a driver issue following the update??
    Thanks again for your response.
