Acer Aspire VX5-591G can't run games in dedicated GPU

Hello!

I reinstalled my windows and downloaded my drivers.

The problem is, I can only use the drivers provided by Acer on their website, but those are more than 3 years old. When I download the driver from Nvidia, the games don't even try to use the dedicated GPU and crash on start.

I trie forcing the games to start on dedicated with the nvidia control panel, tried DCH drivers, nothing worked so far.

Any idea how to get the newer drivers to work?
Thanks in advance

That’s impossible as the NVIDIA GTX-1050 graphics or whatever other graphics that you have on your Aspire VX5-591G should work for your “Graphics Controller Chip N17P-G0/G1”. Make sure that you uninstall all the previous graphics drivers with “Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.4.6so try that as its impossible that you can’t install the official and latest NVIDIA drivers for your GPU. Also and for the integrated Intel CPU graphics install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and run the scan and make sure that you have the latest Intel graphics and all the Intel drivers for your Aspire VX5-591G.
