Acer Swift 3 SF314-57 - Wi-fi adapter not working

Setting up my new Acer Swift 3, Core i5 8GB RAM, Win 10 home, works well except not connecting by wifi, found WLAN driver not working - yellow triangle next to the WLAN driver in device manager. Connects ok by ethernet.  Eventually got it fully updated through Windows Update after resetting it, WLAN still not working. WLAN Driver AX201, Microsoft, 13/05/19, VER 21.10.2.2.  Deleted the driver, restarted the PC, it reinstalled the same version.
ACER support website - installed Care Center, PC stated as up to date.
Looked at Acer Community - https://community.acer.com/en/kb/articles/13327-intel-ax201-wireless-connectivity-issues-may-be-resolved-by-updating-your-wireless-lan-driver - located driver 21.60.2.1 on Acer support, downloaded, haven't managed to install it.  Still seeing the same driver in device manager with a yellow triangle next to it.
I'm stuck - any other suggestions?

Those driver versions are quite old. Intel regularly releases updated drivers.
The latest is version 22.90.0 available at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html. Download & install these drivers & you should be good.
If you are still having problems, it is usually due to limitations of the router. If you have an older router, you may need to adjust the driver settings to match the router's capabilities.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately I'd already tried the Intel driver, and it hadn't worked, tried it again, same result.  I called Acer tech support this morning, he suggested a couple of troubleshooting routines, which I'd already tried and they didn't work this time either, then suggested I did a factory reset, and if that didn't work it would be a hardware fault. Reset didn't do it, so I'm about to pack it for shipment.  It's an Argos eBay refurb, allegedly fully tested. Happy days!!!

Let us know what they find. I expect it will be as you suggest, they will end up swapping out the WiFi card for a new one.

Hi Billsey, Thanks for your comment.  I sent the machine back for a refund, so we'll never know.  I bought another identical machine, hopefully do better with this one, working reasonably well so far.
