My mouse and keyboard both will not connect to my desktop. I have a Acer ZC 700G. When I plug other USB like chargers it works perfectly fine however when i try to plug any of my mouses into the usb port it doesn’t turn the mouse on or connect. Can anyone help me with this?

Try these basic steps as you are using a Acer PC.

    Turn off the computer.
Unplug all the devices and cables including power cable.
Press and hold the power button for 45 seconds.
Connect all the cables back.    Please connect the power cable as the last one.

Note: please connect the mouse and keyboard directly to computer.   Do not use any usb hub, docking station or any other external adapter...

    Turn on the computer
    Tap del
    Go to bios
press f9 - Load defaults - press yes
press f10 - save the changes - press yes

Computer should load the windows ..

Check whether the keyboard and mouse are working..    If it is not working try to connect it on the front side and check..

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand keyboard  and mouse
right click on keyboard driver - uninstall     Right click on mouse driver - uninstall
    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

Try to use an alternative keyboard and mouse.   Try to use a usb wired mouse and keyboard.    Please try to connect directly to the computer and check and do not use any usb hub.     It should work fine..

Remove the mouse, keyboard and USB drivers, then reboot. They should be reinstalled at boot time and be back to working.
