Recently, my laptop (Acer Swift 1 SF114-32) just went with this, I installed pop os and after week this happened. My screen is off, I can't turn off my laptop but it's still on.
When I hold down the button it doesn't want to turn off, the light bulb on the side is blue and it's not flashing, and the keyboard is still fully backlighted. Please help

    Hi @ Potatofiii
Usually it's the F5 key  and looks like this: You can turn it on by just pressing it: Sometimes it's required to press both FN + F5 simultaneously: If nothing worked or you can't find the backlit keyboard key (sometimes the F5 key is blank), then your laptop may does not have a backlit keyboard.

The battery charge indicator light should stay blue as long as the battery is fully charged. My guess is the version of POP!_OS you installed doesn't have chipset drivers for your laptop, so the charging is all screwed up. Can you go back to Windows, and if you do does the issue clear up?

    Hi @Potatofiii,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.
