My Acer Veriton Z4820G is stuck on ACER screen.

Please help. My AIO system cannot boot, it can't even pass POST. It stuck on the ACER screen and gives the option to either goto the BIOS of boot menu. No matter the key you press, it does not take you past the ACER screen neither will it boot. I think the BIOS is having some issue.

Will appreciate any help.

Thanks

Try these basic steps as you are using a Acer PC.

    Turn off the computer.
Unplug all the devices and cables including power cable.
Press and hold the power button for 45 seconds.
Connect all the cables back.    Please connect the power cable as the last one.

    Turn on the computer
    Tap del
    Go to bios
press f9 - Load defaults - press yes
press f10 - save the changes - press yes

Computer should load the windows ..

Note:  If you are not able to go to bios try to connect a alternative usb wired keyboard and check whether it goes to Bios..

Try powering up with the F2 key pressed. If that gets you into the BIOS do a reset to defaults (F9) and save and exit (F10). If that doesn't get you into the BIOS we're going to have to dig deeper into just where it fails, which won't be easy if it's not doing any beeps or error messages...

As an addition for your Veriton Z4820G AIO this problem could be from different software or hardware sources. First, has this started after an update (or system reinstall) if it has then make sure the laptop is not connected to the internet in any way before you use the following instructions.

    Try the following:
    1. Power off the laptop.
    2. Power on the laptop.
    3. As soon as you see the rotating loading circle, press and hold the Power Button until the computer shuts off.
    4. Repeat this process a few times until you see the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen.
    5. Now you want to let the laptop boot to the "Automatic Repair" screen.
    6. Click "Advanced Options" and then select "Troubleshoot".
    7. Here you want to select "Refresh your PC", if you do not wish to erase data, or "Reset your PC" to erase all data and restore your system.
    8. From here just follow the screen instructions until the recovery is completed.

NOTE: You will need to get into the "Advanced Options" in order to get the "Refresh Option". This choice will keep your data, but any programs installed will be lost.

Do not do a "Reset" as that will wipe all data you have on the laptop.
