In my predator helios 300, my fan speed rises for like 5sec and the lower downs, which produces a sound like a massager. What do I do?

What is the exact model? Example PH315-53-48VH. This issue also occurs, when disabling coolboost?

Yes it occurs in both the cases.

Try resetting the battery: disable fast boot in the power options, turn off the computer, unplug the power adapter, press the power button for thirty seconds, and leave the computer off for half an hour.

Is your helios still in warranty?
Also, does this happen in MAX speed?
Can you check if the sound is coming from the right side or the left side?

If your laptop is under warranty don’t touch it or open it or do anything to it as it may void your warranty! Take your laptop to an Acer service centre in your area so that they can fix this problem for you! Otherwise check your temps with Predator Sense and if they are high, btw, this laptop is designed to run at high temps at CPU PROCHOT of 98°c and OS shut down at 100°C, also the CPU while at 95°c fan 1 spins at 2700rpm and fan 2 spins at 3400rpm while the GPU is at 84°c fan 2 spins at 3900rpm and fan 1 spins at 4700rpm which is at a 49 dBa which is pretty loud so check that first.

Also and if these max fan speeds are excessive or are running always at their max then check the thermal modules if the compounds have been applied properly and/or they are not dried out or it hasn’t been insufficiently applied from Acer? If that is the case then, repaste the CPU/GPU with the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme that is based on their well known Kryonaut paste and has been reformulated to give maximum thermal conductivity due to the designed and smallest particle size, thinner minimum layer height and improved low temperature application.

Do that and apply this paste with the “Pea Dot Method” and the paste should be applied centrally to a pea size drop to both CPU and GPU and then the thermal modules installed on top, do not put too much as that is as bad as putting too little, also never ever apply “Liquid Metal Thermal Compounds” as they are very dangerous as they leak and spread all over the mobos circuitries and they contribute to shortening and burning out components.
