I am not very good with pc's, so i am wondering if it is possible to remove the power supply from my G6-720, i can't find anything online about it and i would love to find out.
I want to upgrade my pc, but i need a new case, so i need to know if i can remove the one from the G6-720 and put it into the new case.

And it looks like the moderators got the thread moved to the right section. :)
There's a latch you have to press after disconnecting all power cables and removing the screws:

What I suggest and if "I want to upgrade my pc" as you said, as the PSU is one of the least costly and one of the most important parts of a new PC build is this, forget about Interchanging  parts (yes the G6-720 has a 750W PSU but its old) as is the G6-720 specs for Win-11 and modern spec computers. The G6-720 PSU has a fixed 1x 24 pins motherboard plug and a 1x CPU (ATX 12V-EPS 12V) 4 pins plug only that is not enough for these modern CPU’s of today, while the new PSU’s have a 1x 20 + 4 pin motherboard plug and a 1x CPU (ATX 12V-EPS 12V) 4 + 4 pins plug (that caters for older systems too and the new systems) which is the difference that you have to have if you want to upgrade to the modern AMD Ryzen 9, 7 or 5 CPU’s or the Intel 10th or 11th or latest 12th Gen CPU’s.

My suggestion to you is to leave the old G6-720’s as it is and start from scratch for your new PC. Get a new motherboard, RAM and GPU or use an integrated CPU/GPU if the costs of the new GPU are too high. Just as a reference and if you want a Ryzen PC get an appropriate either B550 or X570 chipset motherboard with either the top of the range Ryzen 9 or the Ryzen 7 that has options of either the 5800X or the 5700G with its integrated Vega 8 graphics clocked up to 2 GHz or you can use the Intel PC format with an appropriate Intel 400/500 Series chipsets for the socket LGA 1200 10th Gen Comet Lake and 11th Gen Rocket Lake motherboard with chipsets of the H410, H470, Q470, Z490, W480, H510, B560, H570, W580 or the latest 600 Series chipsets for the socket LGA 1700 Alder Lake CPU’s suitable for the Z690 chipset and DDR5, PCIe 5.0 motherboards.
