Wifi driver missing in Device Manager

Hi Guys,

Would like to seek your assistance if you happen to experience this kind of issue with your ACER laptops as well.
My wifi suddenly gets disconnected from time to time so I tried to uninstall my wireless driver from my device manager.
However, after I tried to reinstall the driver again (i downloaded the driver installer from acer website) there is an error message from my Intel proset wireless that my installation has been blocked since there is a newer product version already installed. But still the wireless driver is not visible from the device manager.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

What shows under network adapters in device manager? And is there anything under unknown devices, or when you check hidden devices?

It would help a huge amount if you told us what computer you have, and which WiFi card is installed. In some cases it's better to install the manufacturer's drivers instead of the Acer versions, when they have fixed bugs or tweaked performance.
