So I bought an aspire 3 that came with 8gb of ram, being just one slot removable. I wonder if when swapping one of these 4gb combs for an 8gb one I lose the dual channel?

I apologize for my English, I don't really know.

The A315-22 has 4 GB of on board DDR4 system memory, it supports a maximum and total memory of 12 GB total (including the onboard 4GB RAM) of and make sure that its the "Standard JEDEC 260-pin memory" type at DIMM speeds of 2400/2666/3200 MHz into its 1x slot. For the best compatibility guide use the "Crucial System Scanner".

Will the dual channel still works using a 8+4gb ram configuration? That's my doubt.
