P03-630G Constant freezing, unable to use after freeze

I recently got this desktop a month ago. After the first week it started to consistently freeze after use for a few hours, no matter what I'm doing (playing games or just leaving it on for a few hours doing nothing). The temps for cpu, gpu and the system are usually around 33-35 degree C. There's no big or sporadic spikes in the CPU or GPU usage while using. I've done a clean install of the drivers. I've done a factory reset. Just upgraded the RAM today (was an upgrade I wanted to do) and the problem still presented itself after using it a few hours. I've uninstalled the predator sense software, due to my own research into the problem. The crash logs show nothing, they just see that I did a hard reset. Nothing has worked so far. If there's any solution someone can think of, please help. Also there is no BIOS on the acer support site that I can download for the P03-630G.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience.     I do see that you did most of the steps including factory reset and still it is not working..

If your computer device is in warranty you can contact the warranty dept.     Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  click on "contact support".  Scroll down.  You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept.

If it is out of warranty, please contact local store or

Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  Click on  "Repair My Acer" - Request to have your Acer product repaired.   There will be charges for repair.

I'm pretty sure the only real difference between the PO3-630 and PO3-630G is the CPU, the former use the F series, the latter have the Intel GPU builtin. The BIOS thing might just be an issue with the support site, I've seen other threads with people having problem accessing it, but I think the system is new enough they won't have a newer BIOS available. I think it's likely time to contact Acer support, since the freezes you describe don't seem to be software related.

    Hi @mattcroc,

Malware, outdated drivers, and corruption with system files are several reasons why your PC is freezing. Since you've tried some troubleshooting steps already but the issue still persists, try updating the device drivers which is helpful in resolving the issue.
