I recently started experiencing battery drain while i am playing rdr 2 while the laptop is charging. I have tried using a cooling pad but the answer is still the same. My laptop is not even 1 month old and i didn't face this issue earlier. Should i get the charger replaced or is it normal? Like the battery drain is around 7-10% in an hour i think.

Is it happening for all the games or only while playing games ?    Is it is happening only on playing rdr 2 ?    If it is happening only while playing games then it is something normal..      Games do take a bit of battery power.     Make sure that the battery is fully charged.    Always connect the charger while playing games so that it will not drain quickly..

i tested it out on wd legions which is ***** optimized , csgo and the battery drain didn't happen, like not even close. Today i was trying to figure it out and found out that whenever i am in the game the battery is discharging and whenever i quit to pause menu or open up the map , the battery starts charging again, then i opened up hwinfo and was reading the charge level and i saw about 6W charge while playing the game so the power brick is supplying enough wattage to the system but then i tried switching off the turbo mode and the charge level jumped up and the battery started charging while in the game too. I squared it down to the gpu overclock, whenever the gpu is overclocked to extreme by the predator sense turbo mode , the laptop doesn't charge while playing rdr 2 specifically but this didn't use to happen earlier and has started recently and doesn't occur in any other game. Gonna test it out on detroit:become human since i have heard it is a really demanding game too so i just hope it doesn't happen in that game too.
