after few days my touchpad stopped working in device management I2C HID driver is in failed status ive updated my from acer website still no luck is it because windows 11 upgrade or due to hardware problem

    You can try to press Fn+F7 together at the same time and then the F7 to check if it does make any difference with it.

    Hope it will help you in some way.

    It is much more likely to be a driver issue with Windows 11. Did your update come from Windows Update, or did you do it manually? Sometimes when they haven't yet offered it via Windows Update it is due to issues with drivers not yet being resolved. Either use a mouse until they revamp the driver or roll back to W10 for a while.
